Closed-hole, Offset G, C-foot, silver-plated body and mechanism.
This is one of the sturdier mid-line flutes from Artley's catalog. Compared to the entry 15-0, the 17-0 often had better scale tuning and somewhat more refined keywork.
Gorgeous in both sight and sound. Low C does not play strongly at all. It wil need serviced to address that. Otherwise, it sounds fantastic. Price reflects the pristine condition of the flute while taking into consideration the need for the service to take care of the issue with low C. I do not know what service is needed, only that the low C is soft. Comes in Gemeinhardt case in good condition.
