Vintage Japanese Jewelry Box with Beautiful Abalone inlay designs. Hand Painted in Black Lacquer giving it a distinct high glossy shine.
One of a kind & becoming more rare due to the declining Abalone population. This box depicts deer and birds of paradise.
Open it to find a perfect mirror on the inside lid, with the interior wrapped in red velvet luxury. Three 1” wide slots to hold rings and bracelets. Can be lifted for small flat area to hide items such as letters.
